Bullet Raja(2013) hits the bulls eye, but looses the competition!!

The film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia stars Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.Jimmy Shergill and Vidyut Jamval also play notable roles in the film.

The film entertains for most part. But is a bit too violent and brutal. The lion share of the credit goes to the technicians for their fab work.Saif plays a thug in the film, which he did very well. But Jimmy Shergill is the pick of the lot.He gave a very controlled performance as Saif’s friend. He is definitely an actor to look forward to.The film still could have been made better.A bit more work with the script would have done the magic.

Despite being a watchable one and of course a better one than R Rajkumar, the film yet struggles to set the cash registers ring.It just shows that Saif is not yet ready to shoulder a film on his own.The film was expected to do well.Saif’s got to be worried.Better luck next time.On the contrary  R Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor is doing very well than expected at the box office. Its truly a comeback for the talented Shahid Kapoor as he has been struggling for the past few years.

My Rating : 7.5/10
